Mr. Fernandes joined BI – São Paulo as Director of Brand Development in 2019. Prior to joining the Brand Institute, he was regional brand manager at Procter & Gamble, responsible for managing the P&G dietary supplement line, working with brands that included Metamucil, Pepto-Bismol and Align. Prior to that, he worked at Euromed Scapa Healthcare Company on products for skin care and dermatology. At Boehringer Ingelheim, he worked as a senior manager responsible for managing the Micardis product line. Early in his career, he served as junior product manager for Danone, responsible for managing infant nutrition product line, Aptamil. In his professional experience, he has led development projects for more than 50 brands marketed in Brazil and Latin America, mainly for the Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Consumer segments. He obtained his master’s degree in New Business Administration from ESPM and graduated in Advertising & Marketing from FAAP.
