Brand Institute, Inc. (“BI”) is committed to protecting the privacy of our clients (herein after “Customers”) with care and transparency with regard to the handling of their personal information. This Privacy Statement explains how we collect, use, and share our Customers’ personal information and the choices they have concerning their personal data.

Generally, BI operates on a B2B basis, not B2C. However, we may collect some types of personal information to provide and improve our services. This may include:

  • Identifiers and Contact Information: The name, email address, postal address or telephone number of survey respondents when they create a respondent account (please see Survey Respondent Privacy Policy for more information on Respondents’ privacy)
  • Payment Information: Financial information and transaction data needed to process payments to survey respondents, though this may be handled by third-party payment processors.
  • Usage and Technical Information: Information about your interaction with our websites and services, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and device identifiers. This information is often collected automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies.
  • Communications and Feedback: Information provided when customers contact BI  for information regarding our services, market research surveys or being a survey respondent, or questions regarding payment for surveys completed.

BI does not knowingly collect any sensitive personal information (such as data related to race, ethnic origin, political affiliation or views or medical information) without Customers’ explicit consent as required by law.

We use your personal data only for the reasons for which it was collected. Primary purposes include:

  • To Provide Services: To maintain your client or respondent account, complete project requests and deliver contracted services, and offer Customer support when requested.
  • For Communication: To send you updates, information, and, if you have opted in, marketing communications about our services and company that we think you might be interested in.
  • For Analytics and Personalization: To improve our website and online engagement across various platforms (such as LinkedIn, for example).
  • For Security and Fraud Prevention: To protect our services from accidental loss, unauthorized access, or fraudulent activity.
  • For Legal Compliance: To comply with any legal obligations and respond to requests from government bodies or regulators.

We only share your personal data with the following categories of third parties to help us run our business and provide services:
